Farnham Festival Committee

The new committee are really enjoying taking on the challenge of organising the next Farnham Festival and we are honoured to follow in the footsteps of such talented and committed forbears.

The committee are very keen to deliver the spirit of the festival as conceived by creative genius Alan Fluck in 1961 working with his friends Raymond and Eileen Krish. We are absolutely delighted that The Krish Family continue to support the festival over 50 years later.

It is three years since the last Farnham Festival, the 2017 festival will be slightly shorter than in the past so that it can segue into the Spark Arts Festival. The committee are very clear that this festival, which provides young people of all abilities to experience the joy of new music, must continue. We do however recognise that there is a great deal of music and arts provision in the area and so in a bid to secure our festival on an enduring basis we have been in discussion with the Maltings and the Spark Festival organisers to combine our efforts from 2018. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a week of music and arts in Farnham on an annual basis. Watch this space for further news!
