Monday 19th March 2018 17:30 Infant Schools Concert 'Wild World'

Kicking off Farnham Festival 2018 with a bang, the children from local infant schools; including Badshot Lea Infants, Folly Hill Infants, Puttenham CofE, Rowledge CofE, South Farnham and St John's Churt, will take to the Maltings stage to wow you with their voices and enthusiasm as they ‘Sing in the Wild World’ to entertain you!


Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th March 2018 at 19:30 Junior Schools Concert 'Along Came Man'

Following the success of last year’s concert, local junior schools are back again, this time to perform Along Came Man; a thought provoking cantata on an ecological theme. Conducted by Caroline Maxwell-Gale, the young Performers from Highfield South Farnham, Potters Gate, South Farnham Junior, Waverley Abbey, St Peter's and William Cobbett wil, l entertain you with their fabulous singing and storytelling. Please note that there will be different schools in each performance. Please check which date your school is performing before you book your tickets:

Monday 19th : William Cobbett and St Peter's

Tuesday 20th: South Farnham Junior, Highfield South Farnham ,Waverley Abbey and Potters Gate


Tuesday 20th March 2018 at 17:00 'Raise Me Up'

The Ridgeway Community and Abbey Schools team up with Luminosa Young Voices and FYC Junior choir to present a joyous afternoon of music and song. Let the choirs Raise You Up with their chosen songs, before coming together to perform the Josh Groban hit for their grand finale


Wednesday 21st March 2018 19:30 'Exposition and Recapitulation'

An evening of music old and new. Join these young musicians from local secondary schools and the Farnham Youth Choir as they come together to give you an exciting evening of choral and orchestral work. They will take you on a journey through the decades; rediscovering music commissioned for Farnham Festival in its early years, concluding with the first live performance of brand new music commissioned especially for the 2018 festival and composed by Melanie Thorne. Not to be missed!


Thursday 22nd March 2018 19:30 'Jazz 4 All'

Bringing the 2018 Festival to a close is an evening of Jazz, performed for you by ensembles from local secondary schools and colleges. The final commission of the festival by WIlliam Goodchild, More Four a commission sponsored by the Krish Family will be performed by More House School, while ensembles from All Hallows, Amery Hill School, Alton College, Eggars School and others will showcase their favourite pieces. Finally Jazz 4 All brings all these talented musicians together one final piece to wrap up the Festival for another year!
